Freedom Festival-Parade

One thing that I loved growing up was going with my family to the Freedom Festival Parade on the 4th.  The kids love parades but they don't have to many in AZ because it is a bizillion degrees on the fourth and through out the summer when you would usually have a parade.

The boys had fun hanging out with their cousins on both my side and Scott's but it was still extremely hot and tell you the truth not as great as I remember as a kid.  We still had a great time, and I was impressed that we did stay the entire time.

The kido's favorite parts of course the police motorcycles, the firetrucks, the tanks, the horses, and the Madagascar float and of course the CANDY!  Scott was trying to get Chase all excited for the BYU semi as you can tell in the pics, the kids were not into it so much.  No worries they have some time before they are forced to go blue, hahaha.  

(Carter loved little baby Talmadge, he was tickling him and giving him lots of kisses. So cute)

Maybe next year is it mean to say skip the parade and get a yummy breakfast instead (:
