Happy Campers

While I was in potty training mode with Carter, Chase was able to go on a Father's and Sons Campout with Scott.  Chase has been talking forever about how bad he wants to go camping and sleep in a tent.  I am not much of a camper, so lets just say it is good they have these organized outings for our outdoorsy little boys.  Carter was so sad to see them go, but the rule is no campouts till potty trained, Scott's rule, so next year you are all in bud!

(Look at that dirty face, it makes me cringe.  Scott said he would wipe it and it would look like that 5 minutes later.  Gotta love camping with a 4 year old.)

Scott said he had a great time with Chase, they drank icies on the way up and Chase was forced to go to the bathroom not using an actual toilet, so funny. When they got up there Scott said it was just great to see Chase explore and run around all dirty with the other little boys.

They also had a zip line, which Chase wouldn't do the first day but the second day he was all into it, and went to or three times.  This is good to do away from Mom, since I don't know if I would have let him do it.  He loved it, and came back in one piece, so it was all good.   Chase went on and on about lizards and the centipedes he saw on the hike.  Scott had a great time with Chase and can't wait to do it next year!

Me and Carter were so glad to see them, dirty and all!  Carter told Chase, "Oh, it's my bwother, your my best friend!" He gave him a huge hug, I am so glad when it comes down to it, they miss and love each other.
