Reno Open House/ Lake Tahoe

After Christmas we left and went to Reno to meet up with Ginny and Matt for a open house in his hometown. We all had never been there so we spent a couple of days just around seeing things and relaxing and such.

The boys were really excited to take the airplane ride there and back. Everyone loves sitting by Chase on an airplane, because he loves planes, loves all the drinks you get, and loves movies. Plus he takes up no arm space and is super content. Everyone always wanted him as their seat partner.

Carter on the other hand did ok. He is super squirmy these days which was tough, but he actually slept a bit and did ok eating and being entertained. Overall it was not that bad.

When we got there we got ready and went to the open house which was beautiful with lots of great food and nice people. It was nice of them all to have us and make us all feel super comfortable. It was good to see Ginny and Matt again too, even though they were hesitant to come back to all the snow and bad weather.

The next day it snowed a lot but we were able to see Lake Tahoe which is beautiful. Everyone kept saying you have to come back in the summer when it is blue and nice weather. It was really cold and being from such a warm place it made me miss home a bit. The view was amazing though.

We also had dinner with everyone that night and then wanted to see the Reno Sign. We were to wimpy to get out, since it was really cold and super windy so we just took a picture in the car. sad but still we got to see it which was good.

The next day we flew back to Utah. To relax and wait for the new year. We spent the next couple days just catching up. We got to visit some more with Matt and Ginny and my Grandma was there for a bit before we left back to Utah. It was really good to see her and catch up a bit. The boys love her so much.

Then we made the trip back to Utah which was long but we hit no bad weather which was nice. Then home sweet home. Well kind of we were still homeless at the time, living with Scott's mom but nice to be back in Arizona. Then it was just count down till the house. So fun, Merry Christmas us!
